SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL

The GREATER MEMPHIS ADVENTIST ACADEMY, like all non-profit schools, relies on fundraising in addition to tuition and fees to support its everyday operations and special projects. Your charitable tax-deductible gifts help us to minimize tuition increases and help the school thrive. With your generosity, together we can help our school grow and flourish year after year. There are many ways to contribute financially to support and sustain our school.

CHARITABLE DONATIONS

Soaring Eagles Annual Fund

Generous donations to our Annual Fund are very important to build a bridge between our income and expenses that allow our school community to thrive.

Our goals with the Annual Fund are to:

     Reach our $25,000.00 goal

Eliminate the gap of costs not covered by tuition and fees

Reach 100% participation from our community - including parents and  families, School board members, teachers, and staff.

Ways to give

Cash, check, on-line or cash app. Gifts can be made in single or multiple payments.

Gifts of all sizes help support both 100% participation and reaching our $25,000 goal supporting our two priorities: Where the need is greatest -

allow my gift to be utilized wherever the school most needs support presently; or, Worthy Student Scholarship Fund - A need-based scholarship fund which provides financial aid to students.

Additional Ways to Give

Tangible Gifts of Materials and Equipment
Equipment or furnishings that are needed by the school can also be given. You are able to claim the fair market value of these gifts as a tax deduction. Contact the Principal if you have items for the school’s consideration and would like to make a donation.

IRA Rollover (Qualified Charitable Distribution)
Rolling over is easy and it allows you to immediately help Greater Memphis Adventist Academy students. With recent changes to tax law, the charitable IRA rollover (also known as a qualified charitable distribution or QCD) is more valuable than ever. Whether your generosity is influenced by a tug on your heartstrings or your financial plan, the charitable IRA rollover can help you leverage your support and minimize your taxation. If you are 70½ years of age or older, have an IRA, and want to support Greater Memphis Adventist Academy in a tax-savvy way, the charitable IRA rollover may be right for you. Your IRA administrator can help you make a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA. Follow your financial institution’s procedures to ensure you receive the tax benefits of a QCD.

Bequest
A gift through your will or trust can have a significant and lasting impact on our school. This can be a specific bequest or a portion of the residual of your estate. A charitable bequest may decrease the amount of tax your estate pays.

Beneficiary
By naming Greater Memphis Adventist Academy a beneficiary of your insurance, IRA, or other financial instrument, you can support the school's financial security upon your passing.

CDs, Savings Accounts, Brokerage Accounts and Checking Accounts with POD Provisions
("POD" means "payable on death." You retain full ownership and control during your lifetime and the residual is transferred to GMAA as a gift upon your death, immediately and without probate.)

Charitable Gift Annuity or Remainder Trust
These gifts provide a guaranteed income to the donor for life, an immediate income tax deduction and other possible tax benefits.

Estate Giving is arranged through the South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
